Grande Natale della tradizione all'Ulisse di Sorrento, accogliente, centrale, profumato con buona cucina ed ottimo pesce, spigoloni al sale, capitoni e baccala' una vera sazieta' per non dire poi del buffet di dolci. La processione del bambinello ha reso partecipi tutti gli ospiti. Buono anche il pranzo della vigilia con cannelloni e porchetta sarda che il loquace maitre Ferdinando ci ha servito fino in camera. Abbondante pure la colazione con frutta fresca, dolci, succhi di frutta, affettati ed altro. Personale accogliente e disponibile. Bella preparazione degli ambienti comuni co profumi, luci,lucette,presepi,alberi, renne, cornucopie con pungitopo. Centralita', qualita' a prezzi da b&b di periferia.

Siamo all'Ulisse con l'offerta di Natale, bella preparazione, calore, giochini per bambini, babbo natale col folletto, ottima cena con pesce fresco ottimo e ben condito, dolci abbondanti e di tradizione, volendo sofisticare lo spaghetto andava saltato in padella. Siamo stati anche al concerto di Natale proposto nella chiesa di SanFrancesco, è stata l'overtur al Natale più bella che si potesse organizzare, cosa unica e rara di grande sensibilità umana, religiosa e culturale. Belle le ciaramelle che hanno suonato al presepe artistico napoletano, ma coinvolgere tutti gli ospitati, grandi e piccoli, con la processione del bambinello ed il canto del tu scendi dalle stelle ci ha emozionati. Bravi, con successo avete saputo dare il giusto significato al Natale. Il nostro voto 110 e lode. Ultimo ma non meno importante il costo del pacchetto 170 euro veramente competitivo anche per la qualità offerta.

Bella Combinazione colazione fotocamera Terme e centralità. Attenti alla Renna in sala colazione si mangia il cornetto quando ti ALZI; Scherzi a parte ho visto per strada la Renna Bianca dell'Ulisse. Hoi hoi hoi ... Buona colazione, pulizia ed accoglienza. Il meglio di Sorrento venuto prezzi, servizi, qualità e centralità è il migliore, lo consiglio.

Ottima offerta il pacchetto di Natale, ho prenotato con la famiglia. Ho visto che Sorrento offre molto nel periodo natalizio, ho cercato su internet ed ho trovato la proposta Ulisse. Siamo andati a vedere: centralissimo, personale efficiente e motivato, ambiente pulito e profumato, già con addobbi natalizi di tutto punto e ben fatti. Poi abbiamo visto anche la possibilità del centro benessere, insomma una vera chicca di lusso a prezzi da ostello...
Hanno anche la possibilità del parcheggio coperto a solo 10Euro/giorno, i menù proposti sembrano ghiotti ed a base di pesce la vigilia e tacchino a Natale, speriamo bene ma visto l'ambiente siamo fiduciosi di gente seria; offrire un menù della tradizione è indice di serietà in un mondo dove tutti vogliono offrire qualcosa di nuovo, puntare sulla tradizione è saggio ed intelligente.

We are a mother-daughter (ages 62 & 32) duo doing Italy over 2 weeks in October 2009.
Finding the hotel was difficult for us, as we were trusting Rick Steve's Italy guide which let us down big time on this one! You can take Via Corso straight down and then take the steep stairs down after the hospital on the right or when you get to the Piazza Tasso take the road on the right (Via Corso breaks off left-ish). It's pedestrian only with quaint shops, and no stairs pretty much straight to the hotel. Wi-fi in the lobby plus computer room upstairs use same pay system (I think it was 10 euro for 24 hours, 15 for 72 hours, maybe 20 for a week?). We did not use any of the spa facilities, as we were there for only two nights but the prices seemed reasonable compared to Rome, fairly comparable prices to our Southern California services (I think a 1hr massage was about 50 euros).

Room - it's billed as a deluxe hostel, but I don't know where the hostel is. :-) We had two twin beds in a very large corner room with a balcony. Bathroom was a good size, great towels & linens, floors are marble, balcony view is beautiful. Only complaint was that the tub/shower had a screen that has so many crevices that just attract mold like crazy. Would've been better if they had done an extra large shower curtain. But really that was the only negative. At 60 euro/night including breakfast it was a great rate. Probably the most comfortable bed I slept in throughout the entire trip (6 beds).

Location - good! It's kind of in an odd location, not quite near the "downtown" hotels but not up with the view hotels. This was our last town to visit on our vacation, and we were very tired of dragging our luggage around. But it's an easy walk when you get your bearings. Very convenient for our trips to Herculaneum, Pompeii, and my trip into Naples (mom was scared of big bad Napoli).

Breakfast - Good value. There were cheese slices, salami, ham, rolls, bread, assortment of pastries, several cereal options, fresh fruit, canned fruit, ok coffee, and orange and pineapple juices.

I recommend this hotel. Good price, good location, great sleep The hotel was quiet for us, but I cannot imagine how all of you travel to Italy in July. It was a little crowded and really hot in October!
